It is hoped the competition will attract paddlers from a range of levels and backgrounds; sprint, surf lifesaving, ocean or multisport.<\/p><p>All equipment and craft will be provided by organisers.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>The event will adopt the new Kahawai competition format on one of the Paddler-X courses see more <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uptest.co.nz\/canoeracing\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Kahawai-Flyer-6_91.pdf\">here<\/a>\u00a0<\/p><p>Heats of 4-12 paddlers race from a start line, around one or more buoys and back to a finish line adjacent to the start.
