However, there are some restrictions which are very important to follow, especially with the more transmissible delta variant.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When going paddling please remember:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Paddling must be done alone or within your bubble. You are able to take a short trip in your car to go paddling.<\/li>\n<li>Exercise caution to keep yourself safe and ensure you do not need to engage the assistance of others. Stay within 200m of shore, wear a personal flotation device (or at least take an airbag in kayaks), and ideally if paddling alone, take a member of your bubble along with you to keep an eye on you.<\/li>\n<li>Paddle well within your limits.<\/li>\n<li>Clubs must remain closed, this includes boat storage facilities.<\/li>\n<li>In-person coaching is not allowed.<\/li>\n<li>Wear a face covering before and after your paddle while out in public.<\/li>\n<li>Do not go if you are experiencing any symptoms of covid (Isolate and get a test.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For further details on Level 3 restrictions, <a href=\"https:\/\/covid19.govt.nz\/alert-levels-and-updates\/alert-level-3\/\">click here<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Enjoy getting back on the water but please do so safely.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Auckland and Northland are remaining at Alert Level 4,<\/strong> which unfortunately means paddling is still not allowed to ensure stopping the spread of covid.
