Applications are open for High Performance Sport NZ’s\u00a0 Te H\u0101paitanga initiative, to support the development of emerging and high potential female coaches.<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Te H\u0101paitanga is a holistic coach development initiative designed to provide a range of opportunities for future or emerging female high performance coaches to test and develop their coaching capability, and to develop new skills to navigate a complex and challenging career in high performance sport.<\/div>\n

The 18-month initiative provides coaches with: access to a $15,000 Te H\u0101paitanga coach scholarship; one-on-one mentor support from an experienced high performance coach; attendance at a series of immersive residential workshops; and the opportunity to network and develop within a community of coaches.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Applications are open to women coaching in both paid (full-time, part-time or contract) or unpaid coaching positions.<\/p>\n
